Kincardine Dentistry has seen many changes over the years and has maintained the same high standards of care this whole time.
We are proud of our history which goes back to a hundred and forty years. Starting from Dr Bruce and his son Dr Ralph Bruce to Dr Walden, just recently it has changed ownership from Dr Walden to Dr Umar.
Dr Umar is happy to carry forward our traditions of excellent dental care with compassion.

Dr. Sana Umar, BDS, DDS

Dr. Sana Umar graduated from de’ Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore, Pakistan in 2002. In 2003 Dr. Umar moved to Canada and practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist for seven years. In 2013 she completed the Equivalency Process for Foreign Dentists and qualified to register with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons as a dentist. Dr. Umar has a wonderful chair side manner and is loved by all her patients, especially children. Dr. Umar has been living in Kincardine since 2007, is married and has three children, a girl and two boys. As a busy mother, Dr. Umar enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to cook and is an avid reader.

Dr. Greg Luvison, B.Eng, DDS

Dr. Greg Luvison joined our practice in 2017 after graduating from dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management. At Western, he received the CDA Dentsply Travel Award for research and he represented Western at the 2015 Canadian Dental Association’s Clinician Research Program in St. Johns Newfoundland. Dr. Luvison serves on the executive of the Wingham and District Dental Society. Patients appreciate Dr. Luvison’s attention to detail as well as his patient-centered approach to treatment planning. His sense of humour and intuitive chair side manner make patients feel instantly comfortable. Dr. Luvison grew up in Huntsville and embraces small town life. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and fishing.

Dr. Latifi

Dr Mohamed Latifi graduated from Western University, London, ON, June 2019. He graduated with honours and was awarded the Glenn Walker Award, given to a graduating student from the dental program who has demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, leadership, interpersonal, and clinical skills. Dr Latifi previously practiced in Geraldton, Northern ON for two years before moving to Hanover. He likes the small town feel, preferring it to city life. Dr Latifi prides himself in providing the utmost care and precision in his work. He takes his time explaining dental procedures to patients, so they know what to expect during any procedure.

He served as class president during his school years, so giving back to the community feels natural to him. He enjoys cooking and trying out winter sports including snowboarding and curling and he is a passionate football fan. Dr. Latifi is married and has a daughter.
